Yutaka Ota is a classmate of the Ojamajo and member of the SOS Trio. In Motto and Dokkan, he is in class with Hazuki, Aiko and Onpu.

Yutaka is a member of the SOS Trio with Yuji Sagawa and Toyokazu Sugiyama (Jun Sato since Motto). Although Yutaka loves comedy and making jokes, the other members of SOS Trio happen to be bad at it, much to everyone's annoyance. He becomes more serious when he is alone.

Yutaka has tan skin with brown eyes, short brown hair and thick lips. He wears a red shirt with yellow and green oval print, beige pants, and dark red shoes.
