Yuka Nishizawa is the homeroom teacher of Aiko, Hazuki, and Onpu of class 5-2 and 6-2. She first appears in episode 2 of Motto! Ojamajo Doremi.
Bio[]
A naive and amateur young teacher, Yuka admires Seki-sensei for being able to teach her class with a stern, but a kind method.
Appearance[]
Nishizawa has light skin and brown hair in ponytail tied by a yellow scrunchie, with thick bangs split in the middle. She has brown eyes. Nishizawa wears a pale pink shirt beneath light green hoodie, indigo skirt, and lilac sneakers with white stripes.
Personality[]
Nishizawa is generally cheerful and friendly, but because of how sensitive and forgiving she acts, she is often taken advantage of by her pupils. She sometimes cries in front of her class, making her feel rather embarrassed.

Etymology[]
Nishizawa (西澤): Nishi (西) means "west" and Zawa (澤) means "stream".
Yuka (優香): Yu (優) means "gentleness" and Ka (香) means "fragrance".
Trivia[]
- She is a huge fan of the rockband Evergreen. Her desire to become a teacher was inspired by their song, "Go! Hot-blooded teacher".
- In Ojamajo Doremi 16, she is married and pregnant.
- Nishizawa can eat as much as she wants and doesn't gain any weight.
- She shares her first name with her voice actress.
