Who is the Straight Man? is the 3rd episode of Ojamajo Doremi: Comedy Theater, uploaded on April 28th, 2019.
Synopsis[]
Doremi suggests that as they have officially made the Maho-do Comedy Group, they should come up with a Straight Man and Idiot routine. Momoko offers herself up as the straight man, but Hazuki points out she might be more suited for the idiots role. Onpu agrees that Momoko would offer something unique due to being bilingual, then says she should be the straight man.
Aiko refuses, saying that her acting skills would make her a suitable idiot, which concerns Onpu. Aiko suggests the Straight man is someone who gets to the point- but Doremi reminds her that she comes from Osaka, the birth place of the idiot role. Doremi says she is the straight man, causing the other four to yell out that she is the idiot. Hazuki says that as the most sensible one she would be a good straight man. Momoko says she can be a bilingual straight man though, then Aiko says she can play both roles. Doremi yells out she is the straight man, and the four yell at her again.
The girls continue bickering until eventually, it's reasoned they are all idiots. Doremi tries one more time, but she finally settles on the idiots role.
