I didn't break my word... Here is a synopisis of the first episode ever in Ojamajo Doremi!
So we start with Doremi introducing herself and saying that she is an unlucky girl and she just started learning magic. She isn't very good at it but will get better later on and then recites the solfege before going HUH?. And then we get into the opening, called "OOjamajo carnival." It is quite preppy and hyper. It talks about that "school shouldn't exist in the world" and "fun is number one," which I strongly disapporve of.
Then we cut to the Maho-dou as one of the witches was sorting the shop and a jewel that makes any wish come true. Dandelions are flying as we cut to the title card. After the title card, we cut to the school as she finds a boy in her school and goes "he's sooooooooo cool!" She tried preparing him a love letter to tell him to do his best, but in the end got too awkard and did not give it out in the end. Dejected, she headed back to class for the first part of the day,
Now in the classroom, Seki-sensei listens to one of the students reciting a Japanese passage. I didn't get the text, but I guess it must be an old tale from some time ago. After that male student finishes, the sensei called Doremi up. However, she wasn't paying attention so Hazuki got her attention. She then took her book, not her textbook, but a book all on witches. She began reciting the lines and then was cut short by Seki-sensei, who tells her "go to the hallway." Embarrassed, she headed there and another classmate went to tease her so both she and that classmate had to go in the end.
Ater school she dejectedly goes home but then passes by a shop. Entering, she disturbs one of the witches until she became a witch frog. She then sees her interest of becoming a witch and then tells her that she must get a tap and start from the basics. After teaching her how to transform, she tries but doesnt succeed. Trying again, she mastered it and went "Pretty Witch Doremi-chi". Figuring out how to cast spells, she made a huge steak and then stopped time. Taking her broom, she managed to fly to the field and stopped time again. She then learnt about forbidden magic there and finally goes back home, and calls herself "the world's most unluckiest pretty girl," and the episode ends.
Now to the endig, it was a dramatcally more calming theme called "Surely Tommorow or Kitto Ashita wa". It's quite nice, and ended off well. What a great start!
Overall, it's a great start and I can't wait for more! I wondered what her friend are up to, who will she get into trouble with and the spells they cast. First season, let's do this!
