Pao (パオ) is an elephant that Hana befriends in Ojamajo Doremi Dokkān! and debuted in "Nice to Meet You, White Elephant!".

Personality[]
Pao used to be bullied and ignored by the other magic elephants, causing her to become sensitive and stubborn. Later, as she becomes friends with Hana and comes out of her shell, her personality seems to resemble her.
Pao is a big eater and Majorika spends a lot of money on food. However, it turns out that Pao can actually poop magic balls that are precious in the Witch World. If Pao is successful in absorbing the curse from the former queen, she can generate even more valuable golden beads.
Appearance[]
Pao is a small white elephant with a short tuft of salmon pink bangs in the middle and mulberry eyes. Her ears are tied by a salmon pink hair ties with a white wing attached. She has visible blush and is usually seen with the accordion around her neck.

Hana[]
Pao and Hana are very close friends, Pao adores Hana as she was the very first friend she had made. She enjoys playing the accordion with Hana and Pao seems to stop eating whenever they are separated.
Etymology[]
“Pao” is the Japanese word for the sound of an Elephant.
